Kids Ministry

Kids Ministry at FCPC is about helping our children increase in believing, becoming, and belonging that lead us into a growing relationship with Jesus.

We believe all children are always welcome at all worship services and experiences. 

Kids Ministry

designed for infants through grade 6 

Infant to Age 4

Infant to Age 4
Child care is provided in Room 201 during the 9:30 a.m. hour and the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Our nursery is staffed by paid nursery workers who care deeply about children.

Age 4 - Grade 3
Godly Play

Based in the Montessori method, Godly Play teaches children the classical Christian language system through story, play, and discovery. Children are led to Godly Play after the “Passing of the Peace” in our 10:45 a.m. service. Godly Play takes place in Room 59.

Grades 3-6
The Bridge

Designated to bridge the gap between childhood and adolescence, the Bridge helps fourth and fifth grade students explore faith through sharing their own stories. Meets once a month on Sunday afternoons.

Our Kids’ Corner, located just to the right of the Sanctuary entrance, is a space for children and their grown ups to experience worship.

Waffle Church

Waffle Church is an intergenerational alternative worship experience. Together, we share in the movements of worship developing rhythms of faith, family and a community. We also always eat waffles! For the 2023-2024 year we will meet on September 17th, October 22nd, November 19th, December 17th, January 21st, February 18th, March 17th, and April 28th.  Team Leader: Diane Maloney
