In October 2009, Jon joined the staff of Falls Church Presbyterian Church. He has served in our Presbytery as the Interim Pastor/Head of Staff for the Old Presbyterian Meeting House and Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church. He has received Professional Interim Ministry training by the PC(USA). Prior to becoming a member of National Capital Presbytery, Jon served pastorates in Scotland, Wisconsin, and Philadelphia. Diane has served at Falls Church Presbyterian since February 2004, first as a Parish Associate and now as a Stated Supply. She received her M. Div. From Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey in 1996, and received the John T. Galloway Prize for expository preaching. Gretchen Kuhrmann has served as Director of Music since 1997. The music program under her direction has grown into a vibrant and celebrated part of Falls Church Presbyterian Church and has received recognition for its excellence from many local artists and conductors. A true advocate for choral music, she has spent her career honing choral ensembles into musically sensitive performers and encouraging young singers to develop their skills. In addition to working with the volunteers, she has made a point of hiring many aspiring area soloists and orchestral players to give them opportunities to further their skills and craft. Read More

Julie Huang began organ lessons with Dr. Timothy Olsen and Dr. David Yearsley at Cornell University and completed her Master's in Organ Performance under scholarship with Dr. John Schwandt at the University of Oklahoma. She was a finalist in the Arthur Poister Organ Competition (USA), the winner of the Troxel Competition (OK), and a participant in the International Organ Festival (Netherlands). Read More
A native Cajun, Julie came to the DC Metro Area in 1989 and now calls Arlington home. Julie built a career in non-profit communications and fundraising while simultaneously building a career experience in pastoral music. She served in the capacities of cantor, VBS director, section leader and soloist for Catholic, Episcopal and Presbyterian churches across the Metro area, and has sung with large symphonic ensembles across the region. Read More
