Sunday Mornings at 9:00 Download Adult CE Brochure (click picture) Seekers: “Wrestling with Faith” Do you ever sense that the phrase “wrestling with faith” describes your own experience? Are there times when you feel a disconnect between the words we speak in worship and the beliefs you can really give your heart to? Then please join Seekers this year as we explore the “gaps” between our personal and communal faiths, both in our own experiences, and in those of artists, musicians, and other people of faith. Begins September 11. Location: Parlor Time: 9:00-10:00 AM Contact: Jenny Lansbury Common Grounds: Common Grounds is a drop-in adult Sunday school class. We do Bible study or seasonal topics such as Advent and Lent. Each class is self-contained, so you don't have to come every week to get something out of it. Many of us have children, so we come as we can and leave as we must. Begins September 11. Location: Fellowship Hall Time: 9:00-10:00 AM Contact: Megan Klose Serendipity: Serendipity Study Group invites all who long for a meaningful and meaty discussion of religious issues. Beth Thomas will lead Serendipity, discussing "Reading Luke, a Literary and Theological Commentary on the Third Gospel." Begins September 11. Location: Conference Room Time: 9:00-10:00 AM Contact: Bill Layson Growing In Faith: This new adult Sunday School class will consist of short-term studies to nurture your faith. From Bible Studies to studies on theological issues, these 3-6 week courses are designed to allow members to “drop-in.” Look for more information coming in the fall.Begins September 11. Location: Library Time: 9:00-10:00 AM Contact: Diane Hendricks Cross Training: Meetings include prayer, bible study, open discussions and fellowship. There will also be meetings outside of the church which will include, but are not limited to, recreational and educational. Our vision is to fulfill the need to have a group to encourage young adults, out of high school, and couples to participate and become strong active members of the church. Begins September 18.
